ひとはすぐ忘れるから。
震災の影で、言論統制につながる法案を通す人がいるようだから。
報道規制が着実に強まり、清原つかまえて朝夕報道させる裏で物事を行おうとする人がいるようだから。
安保法案が通ったころにネット上で見た言葉を、今、思い出しておく。
あしたのための声明書
わたしたちは、忘れない。
人びとの声に耳をふさぎ、まともに答弁もせず法案を通した首相の厚顔を。
戦争に行きたくないと叫ぶ若者を「利己的」と罵った議員の無恥を。
強行採決も連休を過ぎれば忘れると言い放った官房長官の傲慢を。
わたしたちは、忘れない。
マスコミを懲らしめる、と恫喝した議員の思い上がりを。
権力に媚び、おもねるだけの報道人と言論人の醜さを。
居眠りに耽る議員たちの弛緩を。
わたしたちは、忘れない。
声を上げた若者たちの美しさを。
街頭に立ったお年寄りたちの威厳を。
内部からの告発に踏み切った人びとの勇気を。
わたしたちは、忘れない。
戦争の体験者が学生のデモに加わっていた姿を。
路上で、職場で、田んぼで、プラカードを掲げた人びとの決意を。
聞き届けられない声を、それでも上げつづけてきた人びとの苦しく切ない歴史を。
きょうは、はじまりの日。
憲法を貶めた法律を葬り去る作業のはじまり。
賛成票を投じたツケを議員たちが苦々しく噛みしめる日々のはじまり。
人の生命を軽んじ、人の尊厳を踏みにじる独裁政治の終わりのはじまり。
自由と平和への願いをさらに深く、さらに広く共有するための、あらゆる試みのはじまり。
わたしたちは、忘れない、あきらめない、屈しない。

「けんかはいやだ」のきもちを わがままと きめつけて
ばかにしていた つめたいおとなを

おかしいことは おかしいと つたえようとした

Manifesto for Tomorrow
We cannot forget.
The audacity of the Prime Minister who passed the security treaty without listening to the voices of the people and hearing their answer.
The shamelessness of the Diet members who scorn the youth who shout that they do not want to go to war as “selfish.”
The arrogance of the Chief Cabinet Secretary who scoffed that the people would forget about the forced passage of the bill over the three-day weekend.
We cannot forget.
The conceit of the Diet members who threatened to imprison members of the mass media.
The ugliness of the journalists and pundits that only flatter and curry favor with authority.
The flaccid weakness of politicians that only slumber.
We cannot forget.
The beauty of the young people who have raised their voices.
The dignity of the elderly who stand up on the streets.
The courage of those who have taken on indictments.
We cannot forget.
The image of those war veterans that have joined the student protests.
The determination of all the people who hold up placards on the street, at their places of work, and in rice fields.
The painful history of those who continue to raise their voices even when they cannot be heard.
Today is a new beginning.
The beginning of the work to lay to rest a law that scorns our constitution.
The beginning of the days when politicians who cast their support in favor of the revision bite down and grimace.
The beginning of the end of monopoly politics that tramples the dignity of the people and disrespects human life.
The beginning of all kinds of experiments to truly and broadly work towards shared peace and freedom.
We cannot forget. We cannot give up. We will not give in.
